Marriott Adds Customized Software Solution for Insurance Housing

Marriott Execustay, a leading provider of corporate housing, has picked Software Answers Inc., the leading provider of technology solutions for corporate housing, to provide property management and accounting software for its Insurance Housing Solutions division. Orlando, Fla.-based Software Answers has customized its Oscar 4.6 Property Management and Accounting System to provide functionality specific to the insurance housing market.

"Oscar 4.6's customized features will help us deliver the outstanding customer service that Marriott is known for," says Joe Novia, ExecuStay's vice president of insurance housing. "The unique features developed by Software Answers will allow us to provide our clients with increased control on the local level while reducing the paperwork needed to process claims."

Although ExecuStay is in the process of implementing the Oscar 4.6 system in its corporate housing offices, the company had identified unique concerns for insurance housing clients, who often need access to account information on several levels of the organization. "By customizing the Oscar 4.6 software, we have given local account managers significantly more control over account management," says Michael Kirban, executive vice president of Software Answers. "They will be able to provide services not needed for standard corporate housing accounts, such as the ability to see all management reports, including statistics for each insurance adjuster individually."

Other new functions developed for ExecuStay include:
researching accounts, billing and processing payments by claim number;
handling Additional Living Expenses (A.L.E.), the component of a
homeowners policy that allows for living expenses should the dwelling be
unfit for living such as after a disaster; and
specialized statements for adjusters.
ExecuStay will begin installation of the new software in August 2003.
