Interstate Hotels Corporate Housing Division (BridgeStreet Worldwide) using Oscar
Orlando, FL
BridgeStreet Corporate Housing Worldwide, the leading global provider of corporate housing for business travelers, has expanded its agreement with Software Answers Inc., the leading provider of technology solutions to the corporate housing industry, to include its operations in the United States and Canada.
Under the agreement, Orlando, Fla.-based Software Answers will implement its new Oscar 4.6 Enterprise Property Management and Accounting System at BridgeStreet's 18 regional offices on this side of the Atlantic Ocean. Bridgestreet, a division of Interstate Hotels & Resorts Inc. (NYSE: IHR), has been operating the software in its European offices for the past year, following its successful beta test there. The new agreement represents the remaining 80 percent of BridgeStreet's worldwide operations.
BridgeStreet North America will be implementing the new Oscar 4.6 Enterprise modules including reservations, contact management, call accounting, and full general ledger accounting. In addition, Bridgestreet will make a significant investment with Software Answers to create numerous custom features. BridgeStreet, Software Answers Expand Pact/Add one
"This new software will expedite our aggressive national and international growth strategy," says Thomas Vincent, president of BridgeStreet Corporate Housing Worldwide. "We have been extremely pleased with both the service from Software Answers and Oscar 4's ease of use in our European operations. I'm looking forward to seeing the efficiencies that this program will bring to our North American Operation."
Brian Garavuso, chief technology officer of Interstate Hotels, agrees, "Software Answers has worked hard to understand our operations and to provide version 4.6 Enterprise with even more functionality to address our unique business needs. We're confident that Oscar's deployment will provide us a competitive advantage," he says.
Software Answers will begin implementing the software by year-end. "After working with BridgeStreet for a year in London and Paris, we are very excited to have the opportunity to convert their U.S. and Canadian operations to Oscar," says Michael Kirban, executive vice president of the firm.
